LILLIE TRUEAX MEMORIAL SERVICE

Over the Christmas season, one of our dear, long time friends and member of our church, Lillie Trueax, passed away. We will be holding a Memorial Service for her at Southwood next Sunday evening, January 29th at 6:00 PM. Everyone is welcome to attend.

New Adult Sunday School Classes beginning January 8

Ladies Class- "You Matter More Than You Thing: What a Woman Needs to Know About the Difference She Makes" facilitators will be Maggie Fuller and Diane Lightfoot in the loft.
Open Class- “Balancing Life’s Demands” Does life seem a little out of control? In this class you will learn how to put “first things first” with facilitators Jim Watson and Rich Fuller in the upper room.

Are you ready to walk?  Hate the cold? Well join us on the first and third Wednesdays in the activity center for a great time together. Just think of it as a moving event.  Low impact- everyone can do it- young and old, thin or not thin.  Just be there. Our first walk will be Wed. Jan 4th at 7 p.m. (No flip-flops or bare feet please).

GRIEF SHARE is designed to be a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. You don’t have to go through the process alone. Grief Share is held on Thursday evenings at 7:00 PM in the Southwood Baptist Church library.
